Meet our staffAt the heart of the Thomas More Law School is standing up for people in need, and for issues that matter. We want you to see life through the eyes of others and be inspired to make a difference.
Embrace law to fight injustice. Our Bachelor of Laws is a global, ethical and practical qualification designed to give you the skills to build a satisfying legal career and at the same time consider community wellbeing.
You won’t just learn theory when you study law with us. To prepare for a legal career, you’ll put your degree to use in the community by doing pro bono work. You will also be able to get involved in mooting, negotiation and witness-interviewing competitions in Australia and internationally.
If you are keen to see the world, we offer several units at our Rome Campus, and there are opportunities to study overseas at one of our partner institutions.
Delve into the criminal mind and develop the knowledge and expertise to make a valuable contribution to the justice sector. By studying criminology and criminal justice, you’ll understand the complex causes and impact of crime, and explore fascinating areas like forensic psychology, forensic science, cybercrime, border protection and biosecurity, understanding violence and trauma.
Gain hands-on skills
You will undertake a 40-hour placement associated with the criminal justice sector. You’ll receive intensive training in workplace approaches, practices and more before starting your placement, followed by a debriefing with a clinical education specialist.
Gain a deeper understanding of the legal profession by exploring the research of our academic staff, who are engaged in progressing knowledge in areas such as human rights, dispute resolution and commercial law.
