Meet our Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Enterprise)
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research) is responsible for implementing ACU's research strategy, working closely with stakeholders to build the university's national and international research profile. This involves supporting faculty and student research activities to foster the foundations for research collaboration with external university partners and, working with Enterprise, linking research to other stakeholders. The PVC-R leads a service-orientated culture across all areas of the portfolio, while addressing concerns related to external partnerships and funding and research integrity.
Meet our Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research)
The Dean of Industry and Innovation oversees ACU’s new Enterprise office and the implementation of ACU’s Industry Partnerships and Innovation roadmap. The role involves cultivating and sustaining collaborative relationships with key industry partners and stakeholders throughout the university community. Drawing upon her experience in R&D translation, digital innovation, and industry-academia collaborations, the Dean forges new sustainable partnerships that benefit both the university and its partners. ACU's Enterprise office provides supports for business development, contract research, consultancy, and commercialisation, in line with the University's mission and strategy.

The Director, Major External Projects (Government) plays a key role in providing expert advice to and influencing and making decisions on behalf of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research and Enterprise, in relation to strategy, research policy and projects, business intelligence and strategic stakeholder relations, with university wide and external impact. The Director also drives the development and implementation of specific research projects, strategic approaches to external stakeholders to support engagement with state and federal governments.
Meet our Director, Major External Projects (Government)
The Director of the Graduate Research School is responsible for the operations, management and development of all facets of graduate research at the university. The Director plays a key role in building strategic domestic and international partnerships, growing research income, establishing industry funded PhDs and programs, and supporting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in all areas aligned to the university’s mission and strategy. The Director assists in the strategic direction of graduate research activities including policy development, program compliance, student data analysis, budgeting, marketing and staff management.
