A university of faith
ACU's Blacktown Campus is named in honour of St Josephine Bakhita, patron saint of Sudan and of victims of slavery. True to our mission as a Catholic university, ACU Blacktown is distinctly Catholic but welcoming of people of all faiths and none.
Saint Josephine is an inspiration to people everywhere and her prayers and example will help us contribute to the mission and priorities of the Diocese of Parramatta, in which St Josephine Bakhita Campus is located.
