The Institute for Positive Psychology & Education (IPPE) is hosting the Check and Connect Comprehensive Implementation Training presented by the Institute on Community Integration from the University of Minnesota, at the Strathfield Campus, 5–6 July 2017.
Check & Connect is an evidence-based K-12 intervention model that promotes student engagement and academic achievement for at-risk youth. Over the course of two days, the trainer will provide attendees with a thorough overview of Check & Connect and its background; information on how to prepare their site for implementing Check & Connect; and the information, competencies and skills needed to be an effective Check & Connect mentor.
This is a rare and exciting opportunity for research, education and psychological professionals to attend this training on Australian soil.
For more information about this training and to register, visit the University of Minnesota website.
Please note: It is recommended you register by 24 May to secure a place as this training is limited to 35 attendees.
