Admission requirements
Applicants must comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.
To be eligible to apply for admission to the Bachelor of Arts (Western Civilisation)/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree, a student must have completed at least 120 cp of LAWS units from the Bachelor of Laws degree, with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 5.75.

Completion requirements
To qualify for the double degree, a student must complete 400cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
a. 160 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Arts (Western Civilisation), consisting of:
- 130 cp from Western Civilisation Specified Units (Part A);
- 10 cp from Community Engagement Unit (Part B);
- 20 cp from Western Civilisation Elective Units (Part C);
b. 240 cp selected in accordance with the requirements for the Bachelor of Laws (Honours), consisting of:
- 180 cp from Law Specified Units (Part D);
- 10 cp from Law Elective Units and (Part E);
- 10 cp Pro Bono/Community Legal Engagement Unit (Part F);
- 10cp LAWS450 Legal Research and Methodology (Part G);
- 30cp LAWS451 Honours Thesis (Part H)
Other requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
