“In my role as Project Manager with a group of fellow students, I recently undertook a virtual professional experience project unit for CASSE Australia, an organisation that works to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children at risk.
I developed leadership skills and experienced what it was like to work with a team. Additionally, I improved my problem-solving skills by watching and listening to my group’s ideas and opinions and thinking about different approaches to solutions. Ultimately, this project opened my eyes to new and different ways of thinking, and I gained new skills that will be beneficial for when I enter the workforce.”
