Thank you for your interest in the Bone Health and Fractures Research Program, a research group that focuses on improving and maintaining musculoskeletal health in older men and women as part of the healthy aging process.
Postmenopausal women are at an increased risk of developing osteoporosis. The OsteoPreP study is investigating whether daily supplementation with probiotics for 12 months can reduce or prevent bone loss and improve metabolic health in postmenopausal women.
