Digital learning assessments and big data: Implications for teacher professionalism is a paper by Professor Claire Wyatt-Smith, Professor Bob Lingard, and Dr Elizabeth Heck. It has been published by UNESCO as part of the international Education Research and Foresight series and has been translated into French and Spanish. This work became the catalyst for the forthcoming edited collection, Digital Disruption in Teaching and Testing: Assessments, Big Data, and the Transformation of Schooling to be published by Routledge in 2021. It will be included in Professor Michael Apple’s Critical Studies in Education book series. The book includes contributions by leading international thinkers in the field.
