EnglishIf you're ready to start your Australian study adventure, we're here to help. Below is detailed information to see if you're eligible, what you need to do to apply and important dates to keep in mind.
Before we begin, let's first check your eligibility to study with us. To be accepted as part of our Exchange or Study Abroad Programs you must meet the following requirements.
You need to have completed one full year of study at a university level with satisfactory grades.
You will meet the English language requirements if you have successfully completed at least one full-time year of study - where the medium was English - at a secondary or higher education level.
If you have not, you will need to provide evidence of the following:
For undergraduate study:
For postgraduate study:
An expanded list of approved English language proficiency test results can be viewed in Schedule 4 of the Admission to Coursework Policy.
Students wishing to enrol in academic units within Law, Health Science and Teacher Education courses may be required to have a higher level of English proficiency as per the English requirements noted in the corresponding degree program.
We're looking forward to having you study with us, but first you need to ask permission from your home university before you apply to go on exchange or study abroad. They will be able to tell you if you will receive credit for your study with us.
Choose from one of our six campuses from around Australia. Keep in mind that not all subjects are offered at all campuses.
Choose at least five units that you would like to study at your preferred campus. You will only enrol in 3 to 4 units per semester but we recommend having additional units approved as a backup in case changes eventuate. Preparation is the key.
Now you know what and where you want to study it's time to apply!
Here's how to do it:
You'll need to have copies of your documents ready to upload. This may include:
If your application is successful, we'll send you an electronic Letter of Offer, normally within 1-2 weeks. This letter may come via your Exchange or Study Abroad representative at your home university.
The Letter of Offer will list your approved study plan as well as any fee or payment information. As part of the offer there will be an acceptance letter for you to complete and send back to us.
Before you arrive in Australia you will need to obtain Overseas Student Health Cover (OHSC).
Once you've paid any fees required and returned your completed acceptance letter we'll send you an electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). This will allow you to apply for a Student Visa.
You can apply for a Student Visa online or from the nearest Australian High Commission, Consulate, Embassy or Diplomatic post. Once your student visa has been approved you can complete your travel arrangements.

Welcome to Australia! Upon your arrival we will organise orientation activities so you can get to know your campus and your fellow students. You'll also be given a student ID and be able to finalise your enrolment.
We'd hate to miss you! Please take note of these important dates when applying.
To study in Semester 1, apply by 15 November.
To study in Semester 2, apply by 15 May.
