The ACU English Test can be used by both international and domestic students to meet the language entry requirements for most courses.

EnglishIf you have applied for a diploma or degree program at ACU and you have a letter of offer from the University, you can take the ACU English Test as a means of demonstrating your English language proficiency. Check your required level on English proficiency.
If you are a domestic student, you can take the ACU English Test as a means of demonstrating your English language proficiency. To do so, when registering for the test you will need to let us know the name of the course you have applied for.
Note: The ACU Test is not accepted in order to meet the English language entry requirement for postgraduate Psychology courses and Bachelor of Nursing and associated double degrees.
Admission to Coursework Programs - Policy and Procedures
The ACU English test cannot be used to gain re-entry to programs from which a student has been terminated.
It cannot be used to gain entry to programs if students have not achieved the correct grade in ACU's EAP course or if students have not been successful in completing the Tertiary Preparation Program (Health Sciences)
It is not accepted for entry to courses at other universities or for visa purposes.
Please note that the test may only be attempted twice.
The cost of the October 2024 test is $150. The cost in 2025 will be $200.
Please note refunds will only be given under exceptional circumstances.
