Admission requirements
To be eligible for admission to the Master of Health Professional Education, an applicant must:
a. have completed either a bachelor degree in a health discipline or equivalent; OR; have completed either the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education, the Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education, the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Education or the Graduate Diploma in Health Professional Education;
AND
b. have completed at least one year of clinical or work experience prior to admission.
An applicant must also comply with the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy .

Completion requirements
To qualify for the Master of Health Professional Education degree, a student must complete 120 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
a. For Project Stream:
i. 70 cp from Specified Health Professional Education Units (Part A)
ii. 40 cp from Project Stream Units (Part B)
iii. 10 cp from Elective Units (Part C)
OR
b. For Research Stream:
i. 70 cp from Specified Health Professional Education Units (Part A)
ii. 50 cp from Research Stream Units (Part D)
Exit points
A student who has completed the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in Health Professional Education or the Graduate Diploma in Health Professional Education may exit with the relevant award.
Progression requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progression through this course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
