Note:
North Sydney - Criminology and Law units
Strathfield - Arts units
In Sydney, Law subjects will be offered on the North Sydney campus, whereas most Arts and Philosophy units will be taught on the Strathfield campus.
EFTSL value of units : All 10cp units in this course have an EFTSL value of 0.125. Units with a credit point (cp) value of a multiple of 10 have corresponding EFTSL values.
Admission requirements

International applicants must also meet the English Language Proficiency requirements as defined in the Admission to Coursework Programs Policy.

Completion requirements
To qualify for the degree, a student must complete 400 cp from the Schedule of Unit Offerings, consisting of:
Criminology and Criminal Justice
a. Comprising 180 cp selected from units listed as follows:-
i. 120 cp from Criminology Specified Units (Part A);
ii. 40 cp from Law Specified Units (Part B)
iii. 10 cp from Specified Multi-disciplinary Units Part C) and
iv. 10 cp from LCRM304 Community Engagement. (Part D).
(To qualify for the degree, a student must also complete at least 40 hours of sector placement as part of LCRM304 Community Engagement.)
Human Rights
b. Comprising 220 cp selected from units listed as follows:
i. 60 cp from units listed in the Schedule of Unit offerings from the National School of Arts and Humanities at Part E:
ii. 40 cp from units listed in the Schedule of Unit offerings from the Schools of Theology and Philosophy at Part F: and
iii. 20 cp of University Core Curriculum Units (Part G); and
iv. 60 cp from units listed in the Schedule of Unit offerings from the Thomas More Law School at Part H ; and
v. 40 cp from Human Rights Elective Units in Part I.
Other requirements
Students are required to follow the pattern of unit enrolment set out in the relevant Course Enrolment Guide, unless otherwise approved by the Course Coordinator. In all aspects of progress through the course, students will be advised by the Course Coordinator.
Progression requirements
Students normally complete a unit or units at an introductory level (100-level) in an approved sequence before undertaking advanced level units (200, 300, 400 level) in that sequence.
