The awards recognise student veterans, current serving and family of the ADF who have made a significant contribution to campus life or the broader community while pursuing higher education.
The Student Veteran Impact Awards recognise the significant contributions our students have made in the areas of the environment and all facets of society. Their impact in these endeavours demonstrates ACU's mission, identity, and values of service towards the common good.
ACU student veterans are encouraged to self-nominate or nominate a mate for any of the four award categories. To be eligible for the 2024 Student Veteran Impact Awards, the nominee must:
Nominations for the 2024 Student Veteran Impact Awards open Friday, 12 July 2024 and will close 11.59pm Sunday, 18 August 2024.
The 2023 Student Veteran Impact Award dinner was held at Doltone House, Hyde Park, Sydney on 23 October 2023. Along with celebrating the award recipients, the attendees raised $6,000 for the Veteran Transition Program Scholarships.
