GTPA Online Symposia

Higher education partners of the Graduate Teacher Performance Assessment (GTPA), convened at the GTPA Collective Digital Symposia in February and March 2021. Eighteen universities offering teacher education and a wide range of industry partners convened at the Symposia to share, discuss and learn about embedding evidence, evaluative expertise, data characteristics and research and policy developments. Presentations were delivered by the ILSTE GTPA team and teacher educators from several universities across Australia. Participants engaged in rich dialogue to address fidelity of GTPA implementation, applying the established standard, and processes for systematic online cross-institutional moderation. As a result, teacher educators will work together to build the country’s first evidence base to show the quality and impact of teacher education programs, and to share insights into the measurement of graduate readiness.
