LSIA Professor leads national discussion on young children and digital technology

Professor Susan Edwards – Director of Early Childhood Futures research group at LSIA is the lead author on the recently released discussion paper by Early Childhood Australia on young children and digital technology. Early Childhood Australia (ECA) is the peak representational body for early childhood education nationally. Professor Edwards is currently co-chairing the reference group responsible for developing the first ever national statement on young children and digital technology on behalf of ECA. The discussion paper launches a national conversations with educators and parents about the safe, healthy and productive uses of digital technology by very young children.
