Support an ACU PhD candidate with an industry scholarship or internship.
Sponsor and co-supervise a PhD candidate, in partnership with ACU’s Faculty of Education and Arts, while they undertake a co-designed research project.
The candidate will intern with your organisation while they are supervised by a world-leading, LLE expert in one of our research strengths: education, social sciences, humanities, creative arts, or theology and philosophy.
Industry scholarships give PhD candidates the opportunity to better understand and explore the real-world impacts of their work.
To express interest or discuss opportunities for a PhD candidate to work with your organisation, email hdr.projects@acu.edu.au
An internship is a tightly focused three-month research and development project undertaken by a PhD candidate in collaboration with your organisation.
A typical PhD internship costs A$15,000 for a three-month contract.
Your organisation may be eligible for the research and development tax incentive and sector-specific vouchers, which significantly reduce the total cost of the project. Industry partners can also access state government funding schemes where available, usually for small-to-medium enterprises.
Check directly with funding bodies for eligibility criteria and application processes.
