In this video interview, ACU lecturer and early career researcher Dr Doseena Fergie talks about her study into postnatal depression in Aboriginal women, and how her work in the community and as a lecturer is helping to increase awareness of Indigenous health. Dr Fergie is ACU’s second graduate from the Indigenous Staff Research Scholarship Program. She has also been awarded a 2017 Churchill Fellowship, which will allow her to take her work worldwide.
Amy Ryan talks about how ACU has supported both her career development and her work/life balance. As the Manager of Exchange and Study Abroad, Amy has undertaken the Emerging Leaders and Managers Program (eLAMP), to sharpen her skills with practical techniques for engaging her staff.
